[여의도] 수/토요일 저녁 고급 영어 토론 (이코노미스트),  EOE Society (상업X)
EoE, Economics-oriented-English는 영국의 유명주간지 The Economist를 읽고 토론하는 비영리 고급 영어 토론 그룹입니다. 그룹 내 모든 의사소통은  공식 세션이 끝난 이후로도 모두 영어로만 진행됩니다. 목적은 단순히 영어 능력 향상만에 국한되지 않고, 이코노미스트 읽기를 통해 최신 이슈에 대한 이해력/논리력의 향상입니다. (상업적 목적은 없고, 따로 membership fee 등을 요구하지 않습니다.)
일시
- 수요일 오후 19:30-21:30 @여의도역 주변카페
- 토요일 오후 18:30-20:30 @여의도역 주변카페

방법: 매주 사전 선정한 3개정도의 TE 기사를 차례로 음독 후 자유롭게 토론 
주의사항: 1) 모든 의사소통 영어로 진행(English-Speaking-Only policy); 2) 회비는 없음
가입조건: 1) 다양한 이슈에 대해 의견을 표현하고 토론할 수 있는 회화능력;
2) 메주 사전 선정된 이코노미스트를 미리 독해할 수 있는 시간+여유+능력
인원: 0명 (나이 혹은 직장인/학생에 대한 구분은 없음); 4~8명 정도 소규모 그룹 유지

then you should join our Debating club, EoE Society!
EOE, Economics-Oriented-English, is a debating society where members freely read and discuss articles of prestigious newspapers such as TE, The Economist to gain and develop Insights and Logical/Critical thinking as well as English proficiency.
All participants may contribute to the discussion, but no one is forced to. New thought, even radical or robust ideas are all welcome.  
1. Time: Wed 19:30-21:30; Sat 18:30-20:30
2. Place: A cafe at Yeouido(여의도)
3. What we do
  • ~3 articles selected from The Economist every week
    (can be one or two, or from different media).
  • Read out loud the articles, paragraph by paragraph.
  • Discuss relevant topics the way we like.
4. How we do
  • English Speaking Only all the time (Sorry, No Korean even after sessions ends.)
5. Requirements
  • Open to English Speaking Only policy
  • Enthusiasm to continuously learn topics like  business, economic, cultural, and social issues
