EoE Beginner Guidance
What do we do?
10:10-10:20 Ice-breaking (e.g. introduction and briefings for latest issues)
10:20-11:00 1st Read-out-loud and debate session
11:00-11:10 1st Break
11:10-11:50 2nd Read-out-loud and debate session
11:50-12:00 2nd Break
12:00-12:50 3rd Read-out-loud and debate session
12:50-13:00 Additional comments, next week plan, and Improves/Sustains (if any)
(The above is tentative only and this may be subject to change anytime)
- In official sessions, there will be only one group where attendees gather all together to freely discuss their arguments without any supplementary restraining rules.
- There are no official second-rounds for networking purposes. (However, any members can voluntarily organize on their own)

What’s the debating rule?
There is no debating rule for EoE society. It’s basically exhaustive debate. No one’s going to help, encourage, or babysit you to speak out more, so if you want to talk more, try to interrupt and express what you think. As long as you’re polite and logical in your argument, different approaches, ideas, and opinions are always welcome.
Can I speak Korean?
From the moment you decide to join this society, NO KOREAN is allowed to speak whatsoever. (It’s applied even after official sessions end.)
Is there any entrance/membership fee?
There is no such fee.
Are there many students or workers?
We don’t discriminate anybody based on their personal background. There are office workers, students, and many others from all walks of life. We respect and embrace diversity.
How many people are coming?
The number of attendants varies every week. I cannot say for sure the average number, but it can be from three to nine people.
What should I prepare before coming?
You need to read and try to understnad what TE articles mean. Additional in-depth research efforts to improve your background knowledge is highly recommended.

I want to read more than 3 TE articles. Do I have to subscribe?
Unfortunately, you can only access three(3) articles a week from TE website without official subscription rights. Officially, EoE doesn’t provide you with TE articles to respect Intellectual Property (IP) Rights.
